DESIGN NOTES

Tiros is shaped for vertical illumination rather than a conventional circular pool on the floor. Its 30° × 50° asymmetric optic throws light toward a wall and spreads it laterally, helping adjacent fittings overlap more smoothly across artwork, textured panels and feature surfaces. The catalogue rates the 12W model at 896-905 lumens, depending on colour temperature, with CRI ≥90 for more faithful material and colour rendering. A catalogue-confirmed Bridgelux LED adds recognised component-level assurance, while the Sand White aluminium body sits quietly in pale ceilings. Tiros is IP20 for dry interiors. Final uniformity still depends on wall height, ceiling setback and spacing.

Purpose-built asymmetric throw

The 30° × 50° distribution redirects light toward the vertical plane instead of placing a conventional symmetrical pool directly below.

Smoother lateral coverage

The wider cross-wall spread helps neighbouring beams overlap across artwork and feature surfaces, reducing obvious bright-dark scalloping when laid out correctly.

High-CRI vertical emphasis

CRI ≥90 supports more faithful artwork, timber, stone and fabric colour when the illuminated surface is the visual priority.

Recognised LED source

A catalogue-confirmed Bridgelux LED adds component transparency; complete performance still depends on the optic, driver, thermal design and installation.
